  • Size: 1–3 members per team.
  • Experience: All levels welcome! This is a beginner-friendly event with multiple design prompts to choose from.

Requirements

Devpost Requirements

To be eligible for judging, your submission must include:
  • Project Write-up: A detailed overview of your design, covering:
    • Functionality: What does the device do and how does it address the recipient's request?
    • Design Process: How was the model developed?
    • Challenges & Triumphs: The obstacles your team overcame and the accomplishments you are most proud of.
    • What we learned: Key takeaways from the design and prototyping process.
    • Future Roadmap: What are the next steps for evolving this design?
  • Video Presentation: A 2–3 minute video addressing:
    • The Problem: Briefly introduce the specific unmet need your design solves to show the ambition behind the project.
    • Visual Demo: A clear walkthrough of the prototype
    • Real-World Viability: A closing statement on why this design is realistic and ready for long-term use.
